Yes, we do offer financing through Wells Fargo. Applications are available at Country Woods.
We would like to purchase a new kitchen table but we're afraid a custom stain won't match our cabinets close enough. How close can you match a stain sample?
If you can provide us a sample of the piece you would like to match, we can come very close to the color depending on the wood.
We deliver on our own truck anywhere in NH with fees based on the distance from our store. For delivery outside of NH, please contact the store.
How long does it take to receive furniture?
If your furniture is in stock, you may pick it up that day or we can schedule a delivery. If not in-stock, furniture can take anywhere from two weeks to (in rare cases) 14 weeks to arrive. To find out the estimated lead time on your piece, please contact us.
Tell us what you would like and we will either find it or have it made. We work with dozens of companies each with many product lines and collections. Often, we can find what you are looking for in their existing product line or they can alter an existing piece. If not, we also work with local builders who may be able to make what you are looking for.
Is furniture set up when delivered?
All finished pieces are assembled and placed where you want it. We ask you to clear the area prior to our arrival. It is your responsibility to make sure that the furniture will fit through doorways , up staircases and around corners to get to its proposed home. Unfinished beds and tables are not assembled because they need to be finished prior to use.
Does Country Woods remove old furniture?
Due to liability concerns, we cannot remove or re-arrange your existing furniture or electronics.
Country Woods is proud to offer a broad range of furniture from the U.S. (much of it made in New England) and from furniture capitals around the world.
Will you share my email address with others?
No, your email address is for internal use only and will never be shared with anyone.
No, we do not have a catalogue. Because we work with so many vendors, each introducing new products at various times, posting new products on our website is the best way to stay current with the products we feature.
Does Country Woods have gift cards?
Yes, we sell gift cards in any dollar amount. Country Woods Gift Cards are transferable and should be treated like cash. We are unable to issue refunds or replacements if lost or stolen, not redeemable for cash. To purchase a gift card, please call or visit the store.
According to the Unfinished Furniture Association, Real Wood furniture is defined as furniture made of all natural wood or plywood, except unexposed backs and drawer bottoms that may contain fiberboard and does not contain particle board. What is meant by solid wood? Solid wood components of a piece of furniture consist of wooden boards glued together on edge to form a panel. Solid wood components can always be identified by finding the end grain at the end of the board in contrast to plywood or pressboard panels that have veneer covering the exposed edges.
Veneer is a thin layer of attractive wood glued to a substrate, usually a secondary grade of wood, plywood or hardboard. A veneered panel is considered more stable than a solid wood panel of the same wood and is less expensive. Veneer can also be cut into decorative patterns and applied to solid surface and is called Marquetry.
Plywood is a good idea anywhere a solid and strong panel is needed such as the sides of desks, entertainment centers and for bookcase shelves that are prone to warping.
